Your actions drastically shift your life’s path for the better or the worst. You may not realize it, but your future self is always watching you through memories. A student’s life is not a typical routine they need to follow; it builds character through competencies. I present “The CIR Method”; three simple and effective tactics dedicated to empowering students, giving them opportunities; and helping them become the role and value of student leadership.
Global collaboration unites classrooms, cultures, and communities through creativity, integrity, and respect for cultural diversity.
Creativity all day, every day
Seeing the world through the changing of threads on the switching of seats can add a personal touch and transform a generic product into a personalized work of art. One element students must portray in their work is creativity – every moment reveals a story.
Action: in your writing assignment, presentation, speech, or daily life, leave a piece of you behind and present your ideas with authenticity and your own niche. This custom will grant you to shine with possibilities.
Integrity for self-improvement
We need to adjust two things to transform wrong actions into good ones: our mindset and habits. There are two types of people in this world, people with a fixed mindset (believes everything is predetermined and life is fate) and people with a growth mindset (believes there is always room for feedback and growth). We strive for a growth mindset!
Everyone has been there, a time when you felt lost, overwhelmed, and hopeless. This is an opportunity to focus on improving yourself and spread your wings! It is like they say: “the iris never blooms with ease.” This placement improves the willingness to adapt to the new environment and grow in confidence while gaining strength.
Action: resting is just as important as working; receive plenty of breaks, connect to things that spark enjoyment, and practice self-care.
Respect for cultural diversity
Good discipline is key to building a strong network and community, and it gives us a great privilege to encourage aspiring young individuals who want to shape their narratives. We want to be at the heart of decision-making to lead and form global communities dedicated to addressing matters of a certain scale with assertive manners of respect and compassion.
Quite simply, we want to continue advancing to sit at the table with other future leaders with different backstories, turn passions into solutions, and become an agent of change for the current and future generations across the globe – that is what we are here for!
Action: partake in various projects and gain service hours in school and outside of school. Progress will show and help you achieve leadership, adaptability, compassion, and citizenship skills. Furthermore, you will benefit with skills and talents you enhance.
Implement “The CIR Method” for managing performance, commissioning others, and opening visions to build trust. Let us show who we are, what we do, and be the change we wish to see in this world!
