𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙎𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙚 is the debut novel of the American writer F. Scott Fitzgerald. Through Fitzgerald’s lyrical and graceful writing, the book depicts the portrait of a new era in American history.
Fitzgerald became the first writer to spotlight the so-called Jazz Age generation characterized by leisure and hedonistic activities.
At America House Chisinau the Book Club meetings are organized once a month. Each month a different book is selected from the America House library based on the theme of the month.
Participants are not required to read or know about the entire book before the session.
The purpose of “The Book Club” is to encourage America House visitors aged 14+ with an intermediate level of English to read more, discover American writers, and borrow books from the Center’s library.
