Bringing care and comfort to children and adults suffering from incurable illnesses in Moldova.
Un mărțișor pentru speranță!
Those at Hospices Moldova have launched the long-awaited traditional ‘târg.’ With the help of volunteers, they can fundraise by introducing creative events for the public. The mărțișor is not just a symbol of hope; it is a chance to live life without discomfort or worry – we join hand-in-hand. “We are ready to make thousands of mărțișoare!”
In just a few hours, we managed to make 325 mărțișoare.
Hospices Moldova is a British nonprofit/charity organisation already located in four areas of the Republic of Moldova. They have collaborated for eight years, and they aim to serve palliative charity in South-Eastern Europe, especially in developing countries like Moldova. Patients deserve to live in peace without physical, emotional, or social pain.
In 2017, Hospices Moldova began focusing on providing care for the already existing palliative charity undertakings in the country’s rural areas, where you can find villages and hamlets. The representatives accumulated over 8,000 lei of the project in 2021. The mărțișoare are offered after a trade-in donation for 20 lei or any other sum the donators would like. For an order of 20 pieces, the organisation will deliver in the city and beyond.
If you want to get involved, become a volunteer or donate at Hospices of Hope – Moldova. For more information about the organisation, visit their website and social media: Instagram and Facebook.
